Frederick Kwasi Dunyo
Frederick Kwasi Dunyo is a master drummer from Ghana who teaches Canadians and Ghanaians about the techniques and artistry of African drums. He has music learning centers and a large following of pupils in both countries. He focuses on music learning as a form of spiritual experience that goes beyond the formal and the notational, exploring the areas where the music becomes a conversation between the musician and the music instrument. He also teaches at York University, Toronto.
