Folklore
Heritage stories folklore are links not only to the past of a migrant but also the continuously revived part of his culture. The stories these people carry are traditional and eternal because the themes are common like any other folk and fairy tale expressing the most essential dreams of mankind.
Some of the stories tell foundational myths of a people story reflecting the sense of a larger reality of coping with movement and migration, while some speak of clever goats defeating greedy foxes that are told in every culture.
The power of the stories, however, is not in their words alone but also in their meaning to those who carry them and are passing them on to another generation. It's a treasure horde of a culture that has been transmitted verbally and now through the site will belong to a much wider audience.
Our effort is to preserve a few of these stories and also share them with others so that the migrant child can listen to his ancient and modern heritage and gain from both.
